Serigraphs (Silkscreens)

This wildlife serigraph series was designed with bold colors and simplified shapes to provide a unique view into Minnesota north woods wildlife. These moose, gull, loon and fox images will bring an element of warmth and intimacy into your home or cabin.

Part of the inspiration for this series is the process by which it was made. Creating silkscreens is often laborious with five to seven different layers of paint pulled across silk screens to create dynamic prints. Similar to the ruggedness and adventure of living on the north shore of Minnesota, where you often have to do things the hard way, I found that the physical work of hand crafting these prints made the experience more rewarding.
